MVP Studios to Donate Free Photo Packages to Purple Heart Recipients
Wounded Marines Get a Break from MVP Studios
TEMECULA — November 10th, 2009 — Today MVP Studios, a
Temecula Photography Studio announced a new program to benefit wounded Marines; the “MVP Studios Purple Heart Donation Program”. All Marines who have received a Purple Heart will receive a free photo package of their choice if they are at a Ball being photographed by MVP Studios. The Purple Heart is awarded to men and women who have been wounded in combat.
“This is the least we can do for these brave Marines who have given so much for our country”, MVP Studios President, Andy Stockglausner stated. “We do not want them to have to purchase anything.” Stockglausner also stated, “We are extending this offer to all Marines with Medals for Valor, such as a Bronze Star with Combat V.”
Stockglausner also stated, “As a former Marine, going out with our
Marine Corps Ball photographers is a lot of fun. It’s a lot different than going out with our
school photographers or
youth sports photographers to a shoot because these Marine Corps Balls are such a great tradition for Marines, it brings back great memories.”
“I am looking forward to finding out how many packages we will be donating”, Stockglausner stated, “it is hard to estimate an amount since this is our first year of the program, but I would think it would be at least 50. We would love to see as many as 100 or more, we are shooting 30 Balls this year”. With the MVP Studios Purple Heart Donation Program, Marines can choose between any of MVP Studios seven packages. “They have a choice of 7 packages ranging from $15 to $43”, Stockglausner stated. “We wanted to allow the Marines to choose whatever package they want, rather than limiting it to a free 5x7 print or something like that”
“This is a great addition to our support of the
Semper Fi Fund, to which we hope to donate $3000 this year”, said Stockglausner. The Semper Fi fund is a charity to support wounded Marines and their families.
MVP Studios is a leading Marine Corps Ball photographer and will photograph 30 Marine Corps Balls this season alone.
