Giving back to those who sacrifice so much for our Country
The MVP Studios Brave Hearts Program was
designed to give back to the brave men and women who have received the
Purple Heart or a medal for valor in combat. These elite troops will
receive family portraits completely for free from MVP Studios.
How Did this Program Start?
Along with many other photography services, MVP Studios is a Marine Corps Ball Photographer. Initially, the program started out as donations to U.S. Marines who were being photographed at a Marine Corps Ball by MVP. Those Marines were able to choose a free photo package of their choice. During Marine Corps Ball season in 2009, MVP Studios donated 143 photo packages to Marines in a 1 month time period. The total value was over $5400. We saw the positive impact it had on the Marines and decided to expand the program to provide free family portraits and to include all Service Members.
Why Family Portraits?
We feel it is important to include the entire family of the warrior who received the medal. While it is the Service Member who wins the award, we know the sacrifices made by the families of these brave men and women and we want to show our gratitude to the entire family.
Who May Participate?
The MVP Studios Brave Hearts Program is
open to all U.S. Veterans who have been awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded in combat or a
Bronze Star or higher with the "V" device for valor in combat.
Those who qualify for the Brave Hearts Program will receive a complete family portrait session at our portrait studio in Temecula. The session also comes with an 8x10 print of your choice as well as the original image with a complete copyright release for free.
You will own the image just as if you would have taken it with your own camera. You can print it as many times as you like, email it to family and friends, etc.
A copy of the original citation or DD214 can be used to verify the award.
